RECREATION DESTINATION

Mark your calendars outdoor enthusiasts, Grand Teton National Park, located in northwest Wyoming, will be offering camping reservations for select campgrounds through Recreation.gov beginning on January 26, 2021!

The Tetons are among the most stunning mountain ranges in the world. The glacially-carved peaks rise from 6,450 feet in Jackson Hole valley to the mountain peak of Grand Teton at an elevation of 13,770 feet. The iconic valley is home to abundant wildlife including moose, elk, black and grizzly bears, bison and antelope. Below the range sit numerous mountain lakes and the magnificent Snake River.

There is no better way to experience the beauty of the park than to stay overnight! Visitors wishing to reserve a campsite in the park for the 2021 season at Colter Bay, Gros Ventre, Jenny Lake, Signal Mountain, and Lizard Creek campgrounds will be able to do so by visiting Recreation.gov beginning January 26, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. MST for reservations through July 26, 2021.

This is an extremely high demand location and customers will try to book campsites in Grand Teton National Park the moment they go on sale. If you plan to book a reservation on January 26, you should sign in to Recreation.gov early to review available campsites, then try to book them beginning at exactly 8:00 a.m. MST. Campsites are expected to book quickly, so customers are strongly encouraged to plan ahead.

Here are a few helpful tips to keep in mind when trying to make a reservation:

- Ensure that you are signed in to your Recreation.gov account before the 8:00 a.m. MST reservation release.
- Research and choose your top campsites in advance.
- Book online through our site (rather than the Contact Center).

Plan ahead and gear up to #BringHomeaStory at Grand Teton National Park with Recreation.gov!
